Day 6 Christmas in July, Playdates, and a Giveaway!

About a 14 months ago when I dove into this creating stuff with the help from my fantastic friend Michelle, this was the first product.  Okay- this product, but in a very cave-womanish, ugly version :).
I didn’t know what I was doing and had very little clipart.  Although I was blogging for over a year before I starting selling on TPT, I had very little experience with making things look pretty on the computer. I know that is not what makes a product great, but it helps!  Everything I have learned has been through watching tutorials, “googling it,” and occasionally—accidently doing something and realizing it works :).
Anywho back to the point, this spring I revamped my Money Mega Pack!  I LOVE this version. I use it all year long in my Math groups, because some kids are just ready for it right away!

I know the Common Core people took money out of the first grade standards, but what better way is there to challenge your high kids than making 12 in multiple ways???

It will be on sale today only!

Yesterday Nash and Emmie had the best playdate EVER! Since we have just moved back “home,” I was able to take them out to see one of my oldest and dearest friends.  She has this fantastic house way out in the country where kids can just run wild.  And run wild they did.

I also would LOVE to tell you all about a new adventure! I am joining up with some other blog authors in a collaborative blog for 2nd and 3rd grade teachers.

Stop.The.World.

You read that correctly.  Mrs. King will not be in first grade next year, BUT I will not say anything else about it yet.
 Mums the word.
I have a surprise planned to tell you more details.

  1. I was just checking out the new blog and noticed you on there (but there are other 1st grade teachers too, so I didn't think too much of it). Can't wait to to here where you've landed. So fun that you're able to connect with some of your old friends who also have kids. Looks like they had a great time!

  2. I noticed the same thing! And thought something of it! I am pretty excited to hear which grade you will be teaching next year! This narrows it down a little more but I have my fingers crossed for second! I LOVE all your creations and I would be so excited to see what you come up with! Continuing to wait and hear what grade it is!!
